Ausstellungstipp: Eröffnung LOW COST Exchange

Art Gallery Pozega / Cultural Centre Pozega

22nd July - 6th August, 2016
Exhibition Opening and Artist Talk: Friday, 22nd July, 2016 at 8 p.m.

The exhibition and project „LOW COST EXCHANGE“ builds on the exchange between the Faculties of Art in Belgrade and Munich, which began in 2013. At that time a group of students developped and realized two well perceived exhibitions in each city. A student exchange between the Faculties for four students per semester followed this exhibition exchange and still exists for at least one more year.
With the current project we want to present positions of artists and former students of the two countries in two joint exhibitions in Munich (Halle6, October 2015) and Belgrade (Remont Gallery, De¬cember 2015). The participating artists are Milan Antić (Professor at the Faculty of Art in Belgrade), Vladimir Milanović (Professor at the Faculty of Art in Belgrade), Uroš Djurić (ar¬tist from Belgrade), Aleksandar Dimitrijević (artist from Užice), Anuk Miladinović (former assistant at the Faculty of Art in Munich and initiator of the ex¬change projects), Torsten Mühlbach (artist from Munich) Maria Berauer (artist and teacher from Munich) and Jörg Besser (professor for anatomically drawing at the Faculty of Art in Munich).
In addition to the exhibitions, the focus was again on the exchange between the partici¬pating artists and public. Beside the exhibitions there were artist talks and each group of guests was hosted and shown around in the cities and their art scene by the locals including studio and exhibition visits. Now we are working on a catalogue about the project and try to find further possibilities to show the works of this group in other cities.
